In My Studio

Have you ever looked at a photo in a magazine of an "Artist's Studio" and it is clean, neat, and organized... and you think "that is NOT a working studio!" !? I know I do. I also know that I would LIKE my studio to be clean, neat, and organized but it never lasts. I can clean, or I can create. I just can't do both at the same time.
THIS is what my studio looks like this morning.

    ABSOLUTELY FANTASTICAL STUDIO!!!! It makes me want to create, there is just so much to delight the eyes!!!!

    This looks a lot like my bedroom AKA studio... :} I completely agree. I can not have both. Once in a great while I HAVE to clean to keep the dust bunnies from taking over my world and deposing me and maybe to have a few less dog and cat hairs in the clay or the paint. Maybe to find something I KNOW I have but the object has decided to start tunneling out. Yeah, once in a while cleaning is necessary but it never lasts. And I'm happy in that. Love seeing that fellow creators exist in orchestrated chaos.

    thank you thank you . MY husband's desk is clear, clean, and dull. Mine on the other hand, is like yours. Wish you lived next door.
